Random is a small website development team based in Bristol UK.

Our team has over 5 years experience and are fortunate to have enjoyed success with a wide variety of different projects, from local business 'brochure' sites to bespoke dot com enterprises.

Each project has provided a fresh challenge both technically and aesthetically, and we always strive to deliver a well balanced solution – a considered mix of convention and innovation.

Our friendly and professional team devote their time to a small number of clients at any one time, this allows us to produce high quality results that often exceed our clients expectations.

Whatever content or purpose your website serves, we aim to provide you with a solution that stands out from the competition. Whether you want a blog that breaks the mould using WordPress, or are looking for some fresh inspiration in your expanding e-commerce enterprise, we can help.

The most important thing to us is your satisfaction with what we produce. Discussion of ideas and progress is very important in the development of a good website, however large or small. We pride ourselves in being friendly and professional, and want you to be confident in the service we provide.

We use a combination of web design languages and practices, including HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, MySQL, CSS and Flash. We have experience with popular CMS systems, e-commerce packages, PayPal integration, and are happy to offer you hosting assistance to ensure your website resides on the most suitable server.

Randomly Challenged

A new type of social network platform was required.
Unique systems that were centered around the user had to be delivered with a quirky but memorable image.

We built an extensible API to accommodate future development of the concept and a platform capable of video/image upload all based around a scalable user account system.

TFCM

A UK based charity project required a re-branding and site overhaul to increase public awareness and raise new sponsorships for its causes in Uganda.

We delivered a site showcasing the work of the TFCM via detailed information pages illustrated by powerful photography and convincing statistics. In order for TFCM to inform its sponsors of it progress, we created a bespoke CMS and blog enabling both the UK and Ugandan branches of the organization to tell their story. A secure donation and sponsorship system were developed specifically for the needs of TFCM.

Thornlea Mews Holiday Cottages

A group of family owned holiday cottages in Devon came to us asking for a site that would mirror the laid back and tranquil surroundings of their business.

We focused our design around a simple user experience that allowed the visitor to get a feel for the area through rich photography and subtle use of Flash. We reassured their potential customers with detailed local information and enthusiastic customer testimonials coupled with a useful travel planning application and enquiry system.

Creating Wings

Our client required a feminine, informal space where she could create and nurture a following of like minded individuals.

Together. we designed a unique space that focused upon a clean, understated look that allowed her writing and photography to speak for itself. We added tools that allow her to maintain the site as well as collect a detailed readership database so that she may keep followers up to date.

"Their skill and professionalism was exceptional - superior to larger design firms I've worked with over the years, and at a fraction of the cost. Great to work with and highly recommended."

Our prices start from as little as £400 for a basic 5 page brochure site. A complete project cost can be given once a full specification has been agreed.

Any changes made after the initial specification will be charged extra, assuming they lengthen the project delivery time.

We do not endorse speculative or 'spec' work and will not begin design work until after a full discussion and outline of the brief has been reached and an initial agreement made.
